What Holdbase is — and is not

Holdbase is a document organization and owner-assistance tool for rental property owners. It helps you store property documents, extract key information using AI, track deadlines, and view summaries of your confirmed property records.

Holdbase is not a licensed property manager, attorney, tax professional, financial advisor, or insurance agent. Nothing in Holdbase — including AI-extracted data, AI assistant responses, alerts, or any other output — constitutes legal, tax, financial, insurance, or investment advice.

AI extraction and accuracy

Holdbase uses AI to extract information from documents you upload. AI extraction can and does make mistakes. Extracted data is presented for your review before being saved to your account.

You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted information against your original documents. Do not rely on Holdbase data for legal, tax, financial, insurance, or other consequential decisions without independent verification. Holdbase does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose of AI-extracted or AI-generated content.

Your responsibilities

By using Holdbase, you agree to:

• Use Holdbase only for lawful purposes.
• Upload only documents you own or have the right to upload.
• Verify all extracted or AI-generated information against your original documents before relying on it.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Not attempt to access other users' data or circumvent access controls.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Holdbase and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to decisions made based on AI-extracted data, AI assistant responses, alerts, or any other Holdbase output. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Account termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for unlawful purposes.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Holdbase after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
